Hosting and Infrastructure

Your Responsibility

  • Website hosting is entirely your responsibility unless you purchase hosting directly from Darn.pro

  • You choose and manage your hosting provider relationship

  • You are responsible for server security, maintenance, and uptime

  • All website backups must be managed by you

  • You must ensure adequate hosting resources (storage, bandwidth, processing power) for your website's needs

Our Role

  • We work within your existing hosting environment

  • We can provide hosting recommendations and technical requirements

  • We optimize code and configurations for performance within your hosting setup

  • We cannot guarantee website uptime or be responsible for hosting-related issues

  • Emergency support for hosting problems is limited to guidance only

When We Provide Hosting

  • If you purchase hosting directly from Darn.pro, we assume full responsibility for hosting and backups

  • This is offered as a separate service with its own terms and pricing

  • All hosting-related support and maintenance included when we manage your hosting

How We Handle Time and Billing

Time Tracking

  • All work is tracked and billed in 15-minute increments

  • Time includes active development, research, testing, communication, and project planning

  • We use professional time tracking tools and provide detailed reporting

Monthly Minimums

  • When you assign us ongoing tasks, there's a 30-minute monthly minimum billing

  • This ensures we can maintain familiarity with your project and provide responsive service

  • Example: If one 5 minute task is requested, minimum bill is 30 minutes. If two 15 minute tasks are requested, minimum bill is 30 minutes.

What's Included in Time

  • Direct project work and development

  • Email communication and project updates

  • Research related to your specific requirements

  • Testing and quality assurance

  • Brief status calls and check-ins

What's Separate

  • Major project planning sessions (estimated separately)

  • Training sessions (quoted as separate line items)

  • Emergency support outside normal hours (premium rates apply)

Premium Plugins and Licenses

Our Commitment

  • We maintain active licenses for premium plugins and themes used on your site

  • Licenses remain active for at least 12 months after our working relationship ends

  • In most cases, we maintain them much longer as part of our standard practice

License Management

  • We handle renewals and updates automatically

  • You receive the benefit of group licensing discounts when applicable

  • License costs - where applicable - are passed through at our cost with no markup

Project Communication

Regular Updates

  • Weekly progress reports for ongoing projects

  • Immediate notification of any issues or roadblocks

  • Proactive communication about potential improvements or concerns

Your Involvement

  • We need timely feedback to keep projects moving smoothly

  • Access to necessary accounts and systems when required

  • Clear direction on priorities when multiple tasks are pending

Response Times

  • We typically respond to emails within 24 hours on business days

  • Urgent issues are handled same-day when possible

  • Emergency support available for critical website problems
